Through Saskatchewan’s Strychnine Stewardship Program, eligible producers can take the following steps to access strychnine for responsible control of Richardson’s ground squirrels.

♦The RM is planning to have stock for the NEXT CYCLE – July 15-September 1♦
1. Complete online training – sarm.ca/strychnine-stewardship-training
2. Submit a mandatory Treatment Plan and Declaration Form – https://publications.saskatchewan.ca/…/154324/download
♦Steps 1 and 2 must be completed prior to the RM selling any producer strychnine♦
3. Purchase through your RM
4. Apply during recommended windows (March 1 to June 15 and July 15 to September 1)
5. Complete the Product Evaluation Form
