The RM of Wheatlands No. 163 has received approval for designation as an eligible assistance area under the Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP) for livestock loss relief related to the Heavy Snow events of April 16–19, 2026, and April 23–25, 2026.
Producers who experienced uninsured livestock losses exceeding $5,000.00 for an individual farming operation as a result of these winter storm events are encouraged to contact the RM office.
